We have an update...
Expedia has come through and our trip is booked! We are going to Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic from May 4-11. Blake and I just went for all the shots today and my arm really hurts!
We have also gotten word from our teaching employers in Korea who have tentatively given us a May 21st start date for training. Apparently this training week is brutal so we're a little apprehensive. Right now the priorities are Blake finishing his last exams and packing up our first home (sniff).
We are temporarily staying with my parents until we pack up and leave.

The First Post!
Hey Folks!
This is a test post. We figured we should create a blog instead of clogging your email accounts with updates. We have some pretty exciting (and scary) adventures coming up in the near future. Trouble is...nothing is confirmed and we anticipate a whole host of things happening all at the same time. We hope that this blog will be an opportunity to keep you up to date with the chaos and fun that we are trying to work through.
Blake and I have committed to teach in South Korea for one year starting in mid-May or early-June. (We do apologize to those who are finding out about this for the first time here on the blog!) We have been contemplating this decision for quite some time now and we will be ready to go once Blake writes his final exams on April 25. Although we know what company we are going with, we still haven't signed for a particular location and are to hear that news soon. Along with the plans for South Korea and moving out of our apartment, we just found out that we won a $5000 trip through expedia.ca. Craziness!! We can go anywhere in the world and we have our accommodations and flights paid for. Right now we're trying to make it all work together. We can't transfer our trip to anyone and it must to be used before Feb'08, which means we need to go somewhere REALLY NICE before we start our year contract in South Korea. At this point we know nothing else so we will try to keep posting as we find out more information.
