We're home! Back in Peterborough and loving the time with family and friends. Jet lag hasn't been so bad. There have been a few rough days where we were super sleepy and only one bad night when we were up early in the morning- other than that we've been pretty good considering our schedules have been completely flipped. Adjustments have been a little weird, but we're doing ok. We're having a hard time hearing English all around us and not being able to tune out the conversations. We've been straining our minds and ears for an entire year to hear words we can make sense of.. so it's a little overwhelming to be surrounded by conversations we understand. I have been super excited to go shopping and see clothes that aren't plastered in weird designs or crazy English phrases. Blake has been living for the moment when he could golf again so he's been loving this past week.
Right now we're in the thick of errands and plans for Amy's big wedding on Saturday. We'll post some pictures after the big day.
